Site Manager, Swindon, Wiltshire - £60,000 + package

Due to continued business growth and a very exciting pipeline, a leading construction business headquarted in London, is looking for a Site Manager to look after one of their sites in Swindon. The publicly listed business operates across the UK with various housebuilding and urban regeneration projects.

Joining a close and passionate team, the role will take responsibility for all aspects of the project newest large-scale project from pre-construction to hand-over. This leadership role will lead all aspects across this Swindon site with a large apartment development project, whilst preserving and deepening the already strong relationships in place with its external clients.

Furthermore, the role will also require someone to mobilise, manage and motivate internal staff (as well as sub-contractors) to ensure that contractual and SLA agreements are met and that services are delivered on time.

To be considered for this role, you should be an experienced Site manager who has exposure to residential construction related projects. You should be used to managing internal stakeholders and sub-contractors and you should have excellent communication skills. You should be able to demonstrate a successful track record of managing multiple projects at one time at different stages.

You will have a background working on projects from pre-construction and leading all aspects of forecasting, planning, orgainsation, controlling, co-ordination and planning. Having knowledge of the design process will be preferred, though this is not essential.

It is a requirement that you have managed sites of a complex and technical nature. The successful candidate will have the above experience and skills as well as bringing enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a personable, authentic personality to ensure high motivation levels.
