We here at PCR are running a very exciting opportunity with a PLC Residential Developer for a large project overseeing 4 phases at any one time based in Surrey. The sucessful Project Manager will have prior experiene working on multiple phases concurrently for another large residential developer.
Company Profile for the Project Manager:
Our client is the premier house builder that develops a range of housing schemes across the UK with this particular groups focus on Surrey and surrounding areas.
Duties for the Project Manager:
*Ensure that the programme dates are achieved
*Ensure Site Managers understand the programme dates and maintain the programme.
*Liaise with authorities to ensure inspections are completed and service connections complete in accordance with the programme
*Ensure works are completed to the highest standard
*Assess quality of work at all stages and ensure all contractors/suppliers can achieve the required standards
*Conclude the appointment and design responsibility of the relevant contractors, review and manage the various package interfaces, monitor off site activities and lead-in, manage and monitor works on site and handover process.
*Produce, read and familiarise yourself with specifications and drawings
*Ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe, coordinated manner and to regulations.
*Agree Health & Safety checklist before site commences
*Ensure Contractors have been pre-mobilised and there is a formal monitoring process
*Chair, attend and minute meetings with internal team, external contractors and other parties
*Ensure your sites operate efficiently and project management costs are contained within budget.
Skills and experience profile for the Project Manager:
*Previous experience in residential new build
*Extensive experience as a site based Project Manager
*Relevant construction and health & safety qualifications
*Proactive, self-driven, results-oriented
*Effective leader and motivator
*Proactive, flexible and reliable
*Credible, comfortable in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders
*Reliable, tolerant and determined
*Great communicator, able to see things from all views
*Drive for exceptional customer service
