The successful candidate will have experience of delivering projects up to £3 million on both New Build and Refurbishment projects and shall be responsible for the ‘life cycle’ management of the company’s portfolio of work, to include but not limited to the co-ordination all aspects of the design, procurement, installation and commissioning of projects assigned to them, ensuring that high quality, compliant installations are delivered on time and within budget.
The successful candidate shall initially take a lead role as a full-time site-based Project Manager at a recently secure project in Essex.
Responsibilities & Duties
Project life cycle management.
Liaise with clients, consultants, quantity surveyors and other stakeholders.
Planning, monitoring and control of project deliverables.
Preparation and maintenance of project programmes
Management of suppliers and subcontractors
Achieving project milestones, deadlines and accomplishing completion dates
Estimations and variations as required
Value engineering and scoping work.
Preparation of procurement schedules.
Attend pre-tender & post order meetings.
Financial management and reporting.
Application for payment and final accounts
Drawing and document issue and control.
Production of risk and method statements.
Production and submittals of technical submittals
Request for Information (RFI) submittals
Compliance with all Health & Safety and Environmental standards and policies.
Client demonstration & project handover.
Certification and completion documentation. (Record drawings Operation & Maintenance Manuals)
Minimum of 3 years contracting experience project management experience.
Experience on design and build, new build and refurbishment projects
Technical knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical building services.
OND/HND level qualification Building Services or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Project management qualification or proven track history
Management level qualification in H&S and Environment (SMSTS)
