Job Description

A top 20 house builder are currently seeking an Estimator to join their busy commercial team. Covering a wide patch across Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire this regional office is well-established and actively moving towards long term growth targets.

Producing around 350 homes a year, the company retain an excellent reputation in the industry for producing quality new build properties and developing their staff.

This role will suit either someone with prior residential developer experience, or someone from a main contracting background.

Playing a pivotal role between the commercial and land teams, you will take responsibility for cost planning, breaking budgets for Quantity Surveyors, ongoing liaison throughout projects, maintaining the company database and reporting on cost movements.

Ideally you will have prior residential construction experience, be a confident decision maker and welcome the opportunity to work with limited supervision. You will possess excellent communication skills to assist you with developing strong relationships and be confident in the use of IT.

Based in their well-appointed office, there will be opportunities to progress your career with this region of the business growing at a steady pace with a bulging landbank for future projects.

In return, you can expect a salary of up to £65,000 p.a. with a company car/car allowance, bonus potential, 25 days annual leave and many other benefits.
