A leading national house builder are currently seeking a number of Assistant Site Managers for new projects or new phases in and around the Reading area. This is a role for an established Assistant Site Manager, or an experienced Trainee Manager who is ready for their next career step.
The company are one of the country's most successful house builders who provide a range of house types from starter family homes, social housing and apartments, through to luxury properties that can retail for up to c£1.2m. With their current projects and those in long term planning there will be at least a decade of work in the area to follow the initial project.
As Assistant Site Manager you will be responsible for monitoring daily site activity, supervising sub-contractors to finish properties, on the ground health & safety, quality assurance, customer liaison, customer care and site administration

Exposure to residential new build projects
While phased, developments will range from 30 - 200 units. Previous experience with volume build would be highly advantageous. Generally, per phase you would be expected to produce around 40 homes a year, with a balance between speed in production with expected quality levels.
In return, you could expect a salary of up to £48,000 p.a. with a company car or allowance, excellent training, 23 days holiday, a contributory pension and realistic opportunities for progression. There is also an attractive bonus scheme in place to reward those who hit completion and quality targets.
