SU-HA-RI Karate Club (Alton) member Jaden Bowron has taken part in numerous tournaments over the past couple of months, winning medals in all of them.

Most recently Jaden took part in the British Karate Federation’s all styles Four Nations event in the under-ten category in Leicester and the Central England Karate Championships in Worcester, bringing home bronze in both, with Gold at the Elite Karate Kid Championships in London and gold at the Western Karate Union’s even in Weston Super Mare.

Jaden also won bronze medals at the Meopham Open.

Jaden, a brown stripe student at the age of just eight, has now been selected to represent England at eh Wado International Karate-Do Federation World Championships, which are being held at the K2 arena in Crawley in September.

The West Meon Primary School student trains at the SU-HA-RI club in Alton Sports Centre on Monday nights under the guidance of Sensei Jon Wicks (8th Dan).
